Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School has an opening for a highly
qualified middle school Spanish teacher for multi grade level
placement (6-7-8).

Illinois Teaching Certification
Middle School Endorsement in content-related subject area
Working Conditions:
Full-Time position at Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School. Salary
per negotiated agreement-dependent upon experience and
background.

Job Description:

Teacher promotes and develops successful learning and
effective supervision for the Spanish curricular program
*
Teaches six classes in the field of Spainsh to students in grades
6-8
*
Assists in other school programs as assigned
*
Creates a flexible program and environment favorable to learning
and personal growth in accordance with each student's ability
*
Teacher performs instructional and related duties as they
pertain to the state standards in Spanish
*
Teacher must perform duties in accordance with District
Policies and terms of the teacher contract
*
Teacher also maintains a professional, cooperative, and
collaborative attitude with staff, parents, and students
*
Supervision of the hallway and other areas in the school
*
Follows the Illinois Standards for Foreign Language
