SWIM INSTRUCTOR
Qualifications:
s Minimum 16 years of age
s Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid Certification. Certification preferred, training will be provided.
s W.S.I. (Water Safety Instructor) certification preferred or at least 2 years experience teaching swim lessons
s Ability to respond to emergencies and distress situations quickly and effectively
Reports to: Pool & Fitness Center Coordinator
Responsibilities:
s Teach private, semi-private and group classes when needed
s Perform rescues, assists, CPR and first aid when necessary
s Other duties as assigned
Hours: Varied - Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
Rate of Pay: $9.00 per hour
