Description:
The Registered Nurse is the health professional
in the school. S/he is charged with seeing to the health needs of
the students and to the record-keeping and other health-related
requirements of the schools and the District.
Substitute RN
The sub's responsibilities would be to manage
the health office in the regular nurse's absence by providing first aid for ill
and injured children (and staff) and to dispense medication or provide
treatment care as directed. She/he should document all student contact in the
method the building nurse prefers. S/he also may be called upon to provide
coverage in the main office while the secretary has lunch.
Qualifications:
R.N. registered in Illinois

Selection Procedure:
