Thank you for your interest in being a reserve teacher for the Bloomington Public Schools! We are accepting applications for daily, on-call Reserve Teachers for the 2012-13 school year.
You will be contacted by the Reserve Teacher Coordinator regarding your application materials and to schedule an orientation time. We will begin contacting applicants for orientation dates in September. Substitute teaching assignments generally become available beginning in October.
Applications are screened in the order of the date received. Only complete application files will be screened so please ensure that you have included all the required documents to your online application file.
A current Minnesota teaching license is required. The district is no longer signing off on new Short Call Substitute License applications, however you are welcome to apply to reserve teach if you currently hold a valid up to date Short Call Substitute License.
The starting rate of pay is $110.00 per day for full day assignments
and $66.00 for half day assignments
Just one online application is necessary if you are applying for both teacher and reserve teacher positions
