Position Status: Part Time Position
Range 4 ($8.59 - $9.29) depending on years of verifiable experience.
SUMMARY
Assists Bus Drivers on buses by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists students entering and leaving school bus.
Assists driver with monitoring discipline problems.
May assist and escort children to classroom and/or residence.
Assists driver in checking bus after each run for remaining students.
Has a working knowledge of each student’s mental and physical capabilities.
Restrains and harnesses students in buses when necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Will be required to successfully pass a "Performance Test" and complete a first aid and CPR course.
