Substitute School Food Service Worker
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or
GED
2. Some basic knowledge in
food preparation
3. Ability to communicate and
cooperate with staff, students, faculty, and administration
4. Ability to complete
assigned tasks
REPORTS
TO:
Assistant School Food Service Manager/Manager
JOB
GOAL:
To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an
atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in the preparation and serving of food portions

Removes used dishes and assists in cleaning the counters,
tables, and furnishings in the dining area
-
Maintains the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in
the kitchen

Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and
sanitary fashion

Perform related duties as required by the school food service
manager, including duties at special meal functions and
cashiering duties

EMPLOYMENT:
Salary to be established by the School Board

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support
