Campus ADL Advisor (Security)

Overview :

In this safety/security role, you will help provide a friendly and safe educational environment for students. Campus ADL Advisors will monitor and observe students to insure a safe environment for all scholars. The ability to communicate and interact effectively with students, school personnel and visitors is a high priority. Campus ADL Advisors must be customer service oriented, mature and friendly.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Manage Campus Welcome Center
  • Maintain a safe learning environment for students and staff
  • Directs and participates in the supervision of halls and entrances
  • Provides assistance to staff with student disciplinary and security issues
  • Monitor and Secure premises and exits
  • Primary contact regarding safety and security issues

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • 3 years experience working with adolescents in either group or individualized settings
  • Experience as a security team member
  • Proven ability to verbally communicate ideas effectively
  • Proven ability to work well with diverse constituents
  • Proven ability to exercise good judgment and compassion in the conduct of position responsibilities
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings
