Summary: Plan, organize, monitor, and ensure compliance with Local, State, and Federal guidelines and implement all approved grants
Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and monitor approved grants
2. Research grant opportunities and distribute information to staff
3. Collaborate with staff on writing grants
4. Prepare, implement, and evaluate all grant-related activities for No Child Left Behind and Perkins grants, as well as any other grants that the district participates in
5. Prepare accurate and timely grant reports
6. Collect and analyze data
7. Collaborate with the Business Office, Curriculum Office, Central Office, School Administrators, Supervisors, and the NJDOE to ensure compliance with all aspects of grant applications
8. Attend NJDOE and other relevant workshops
9. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Knowledge of PK-12 grants
3. Grant writing skills
4. Knowledge of all aspects of No Child Left Behind
5. Experience with curriculum, assessment data and analysis
6. Knowledge of program development and design
7. Knowledge of research-based instructional interventions and curricular best practices
Skills
1. Proficient with computer software, including Word, Excel, grants management
2. Ability to, organize and develop programs/grants
3. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing is essential
4. Knowledge of the Common Core and curricular best practices as related to implementation of the Common Core, a plus
Evaluation: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with District Policies.
Working conditions
1. 12 month position
2. Salary commensurate with experience
