Substitute Kidstop ESP

Hours:  Various hours and days at various Kidstop locations.

General Purpose of Job:   To inspire and prepare all students with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.  To be responsible for assisting in the supervision of the Kidstop children.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist the Program Manager and instructor in supervising children ages 5-12 on and off the site, e.g., watches children to make sure they are safe and orderly.
• Participate in all the children's activities, e.g., organized games, drawing (participates along with children).
• Lead small group activities.
• Supervise children at nap time, meal time and outdoors.
• Assist instructor and Program Manager in preparing and implementing program activities, preparing snacks, and ordering supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have some experience working with children, grades K-6.
• Minimum of 8 hours of current first aid training within the first 6 months of employment.

Job Type:  Part-time, school year
