Description:
Part-time Health Aide to serve as assistant to District Nurse in serving student health needs.
Job Summary:
Work to be primarily done at Fraser Valley Elementary, Granby Elementary, and East Grand Middle Schools delivering student health care to include: vision and hearing screenings, health record charting, and medication administration.
Qualifications:
High school diploma
First aid/CPR certification
Computer skillsExperience working with children and children with special needsKnowledge of pediatric asthma, diabetes, immunizations, communicable disease, ADHD vision and hearing loss, and case management skillsStrong assessment skills for physical injuries and illnessBachelor of Science in Nursing and licensed to practice in Colorado, preferred but not requiredMust be self-motivated and a self-starterBilingual skills, helpful but not requiredPossession of Colorado driver's license and licensed, insured personal vehicle
Working Conditions:
Work to be primarily done at two elementary schools and the middle school.
