Community Relations Intern

Direct Supervisor:  Kristine Schlismann, Director of Community Relations for JTHS

Intern will learn the following:

• Graphic Design: Mac & Pc based learning
• Will learn/use: Adobe CS5 Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, GarageBand, iMovie
• Video Production/Podcasting
• Set-up
• Filming
• Editing
• Script Writing
• Writing Media Releases
• Marketing/Publicizing/Planning JTHS Events
• Website Training/Fostering knowledge of JTHS Website
• Will be assisting/conducting website trainings for JTHS Staff
• Developing training materials for JTHS staff

Intern will develop/compile a portfolio from internship experience

Applicant must have minimum of 60 credit hours and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Preferred schooling in Public Relations, Marketing, or Journalism
