POSITION:                                    SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN 


AVAILABLE:                                    Immediately and continuing






·           Punctual with good attendance

·           Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of assigned tasks

      ·           Ability to relate to, and cooperate with staff, students and the general public

      ·           Capable of climbing a ladder and working from the genie lift



  •  Knowledge of cleaning, repairing and maintaining the carpeted and tile floors
  •  Assist with heating and ventilation preventative maintenance
  •  Capable of cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and locker rooms
  •  Capable of replacing incandescent and fluorescent bulbs
  •  Assist, as needed, with grounds-keeping, snow removal and unloading of  truck deliveries
  • Assist with the set-up and cleaning of the Arrowwood Conference Room for events and functions
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25-35 pounds (repetitive lifting)
  •  Capable of performing detail cleaning tasks:  surface dusting, damp wiping of horizontal surfaces, window cleaning and cleaning student’s desks
  •  Capable of removing graffiti from all surfaces
  •  Capable of using all types of floor machines
  •  Responsibility for other jobs or tasks assigned by an immediate supervisor

 COMPENSATION:          $7.50/hour
