POSITION: SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN
AVAILABLE: Immediately and continuing
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Punctual with good attendance
· Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of assigned tasks
· Ability to relate to, and cooperate with staff, students and the general public
· Capable of climbing a ladder and working from the genie lift
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of cleaning, repairing and maintaining the carpeted and tile floors

Assist with heating and ventilation preventative maintenance
-
Capable of cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and locker rooms
-
Capable of replacing incandescent and fluorescent bulbs
- Assist, as needed, with grounds-keeping, snow removal and unloading of truck deliveries
- Assist with the set-up and cleaning of the Arrowwood Conference Room for events and functions
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25-35 pounds (repetitive lifting)

Capable of performing detail cleaning tasks: surface dusting, damp wiping of horizontal surfaces, window cleaning and cleaning student’s desks

Capable of removing graffiti from all surfaces

Capable of using all types of floor machines

Responsibility for other jobs or tasks assigned by an immediate supervisor
COMPENSATION: $7.50/hour
