Job Summary: To help students resolve personal, emotional and social problems which may interfere with their adjustment to school and their ability to benefit from the educational program offered.
Assessment of student intellectual and social-emotional development; counseling students; confer with others to facilitate students’ success in learning and in developing positive relationships with others.
The individual is also expected to provide behavior support assessments and develop plans for students.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Assessment of Students/Student Services
- Analysis, Interpretation and Reporting of Assesment Data
- Community Service
- Consulting Services/Consultations with Staff
- Counseling Services
- Professional Growth/Profesional Development
- Family Services
- Record Keeping
Qualifications: Must have a valid Connecticut Certification Number: 070
Salary Range: $41,446 (BA Level/Step 1) to $86,747 (6th Yr Level/Step 13) Competitive Benefits.
