Must hold a New Jersey Family & Consumer Sciences-Foods/Nutrition & Food Science or Teacher of Home Economics Certificate.
Ability to teach concepts and skills in foods and nutrition, home management, family relationships, and consumer education to secondary pupils.
Ability to organize class activities so that preparation, instruction or laboratory work and clean-up activities can be accomplished within the allotted class time.
Demonstrates skill/techniques in home economics and prepares appropriate instructional tools and display materials to enhance learning.
