Vacancy for 12/13 school year
Certification requirements: type 03 or 09 with Math and Science endorsements
Degree in Gifted education or gifted coursework, or State of Illinois Gifted Training
Additional qualifications include:
1. Knowledge of instructional and facilitation strategies in content and in working with highly capable students
2. Knowledge of the characteristics and social emotional needs of gifted learners
3. Flexibility and ability to stimulate curiosity, independence and responsibility
4. Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively
5. Prior experience teaching gifted students
