Position:
Paraeducator, Intensive
General Responsibilities:
·
Assist students with
severe disabilities in both the regular and special education
classrooms with schoolwork
·
Assist case
manager/teacher with paperwork on student's progress or
regression an preparing materials
·
Provide personal care
to students requiring hygiene issues
·
Ability to perform
physical labor, including lifting of up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:
Required:
·
High School Diploma or
equivalent
·
English language
skills; ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English
(must pass English component of interview process)
·
Completed BVSD Online

·
CPI, CPR, and First
Aid certifications within 30 days after hire
Preferred:
·
Experience in working
with children
·
Positive
communication, interaction and work experience with diverse
people
·
Basic bilingual
skills
