Description:
High School Teacher - Secondary Math (EX) Certified (May need to teach 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade.)
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing appropriate education experiences to meet the needs of youth enrolled in Lighthouse Academy programs. The teacher is accountable to the Principal and functions as a member of the Lighthouse Academy team, which consists of classroom teachers, instructional support staff, school social workers, the principal, and the office staff.
Additional Job Expectations:
Participate in staff development activities, staff meetings, in-service trainings, retreats, continuing education courses, and/or professional organizations, school functions including but not limited to, award banquets, carnivals, graduation, etc.
Qualifications:
Teaching degree from an accredited college or university, certification required (Secondary Math (EX) Certified) or a provisional certification with intent to become fully certified.
