The duties and responsibilities to be perform include, but are not limited to, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units, sheet metal, plumbing, electrical, rough and finish carpentry, welding, roofing and painting. Must be able to drive a light truck while performing assigned responsibilities as well as maintain a harmonious atmosphere among District staff.
Must have knowledge of the trades stated in the description above. Must possess a high school diploma or a GED, a refrigeration equipment certification (EPA Certification Card Class 1 & 2) as well as a valid California driver's license. The ability to successfully meet physical requirements of the job. Must pass an approved pre-placement medical assessment.
SALARY AND TERMS OF SERVICE:
Salary range (33) $2,766.41 to $3,362.12 per month, eight (8) steps, eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week, twelve (12) months per year. Holidays, sick leave and vacation benefits. The District currently contributes $14,625.60 per year to family dental, medical and vision insurance plans and a life insurance plan for employee only.
