Description:
Seeking dynamic Mathematics teacher to join our Lincoln Junior High School faculty! Candidates will provide Math instruction for students in grades 6-8. Ideal candidates will have experience with implementation of a newly adopted Math textbook series, and/or experience with Glencoe Math. An understanding of Mathematics at an expert level is essential. Candidates must be proficient in presenting instruction through a variety of instructional strategies and in a manner that appropriately challenges all students, from those who struggle to those who excel.
Qualifications:
Illinois Initial/Standard Elementary Certificate (Type 03) with endorsement in Middle School Mathematics or Illinois Initial/Standard Secondary Certificate (Type 09) with endorsement in Middle School Mathematics. Additionally, candidates must be ESL endorsed or must be able to show proof of enrollment in an ESL endorsement program by August 20, 2012.
