- BSN or BA
with Secondary Teaching
- Certificate/Vocational
endorsement preferred.
- State of
Michigan RN License Required.
- Michigan
Certified Nurse Aid Train the Trainer Certification Required.
- Red Cross
Professional Rescuer Instructor Certification Preferred.

1. Organize
subject materials for instructional purposes.
·
2. Utilize
current teaching methods, materials, and media in the instructional process.
·
3. Organize
and manage classroom activities to achieve the goals of the instructional
process.
·
4. Comply
with all State of Michigan Career and Technical Education Guidelines.
·
5.
Responsible for classroom activity planning, ordering, and maintaining
necessary supplies and materials, writing and updating curriculum, meet with
advisory committee, prepare evaluations and provide the expertise for the
planning and management of the activities realistic to the skill areas.

6. Complete
activities involved in preparing the necessary reports required by the State of
Michigan and the district administration.
·
7. Engage in
activities that will assure that the instructor maintains the knowledge and
skills in current use in business and industry.
Part-time position - approximately 2-3 hours per instructional day
