Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing the culinary function for a school account. You will manage and lead a team of employees and oversee all safety and sanitation standards at the school. Ensure that the kitchen provides nutritious, safe, and eye appealing foods. You will be responsible for the following:


Responsibilities:

*Manage cost controls and control expenditures for the account.

*Purchase and manage inventory.

*Implement new culinary programs in conjunction with the Chartwells marketing and culinary team.


Qualifications: 

*Culinary degree preferred.
*Two to five years of culinary management experience.
*Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
*Experience in a School District (K-12) is preferred but not required.
*Desire to work with an industry leader.
*Knowledge of state and federal food standard guidelines that apply to the K-12 market.
*ServSafe Certification
