Director of Food & Nutrition
Services
Westonka Public Schools seeks a director to manage and oversee
the operations and staff of the Food & Nutrition Services
Department.
The Director will report to the Superintendent, and will provide
overall administration of the district's Child Nutrition programs
within the framework of federal and state regulations and within
budget limitations. The Director must also be knowledgeable of

century industry trends for improving and upgrading school
nutrition programs.
Candidate must hold valid Food
Manager's Certificate and SafeServe Certification; have 3-5
years of managerial experience in a food service organization,
preferably in an educational setting; must have strong
leadership, human relations, organizational, computer and
communication skills and be able to work with a diverse group
of people; have clear knowledge and understanding of all
aspects of USDA's National School Breakfast & Lunch
requirements. Nutrition or Dietician certification preferred or
must have ability to interpret nutrient analysis information
and incorporate into menu planning.
Salary range $45,000-$55,000 D.O.Q.
