Job Summary: Certified staff answers to the Building Principal and adheres to the teacher's job description.Qualifications: Type 03 or Type 10 Certificate, with LBS1 unlimited endorsement. Must be NCLB highly qualified. Computer skills necessary. LDR primary teacher will co-teach in Grade K-3. Individual must be flexible, creative, child-centered, and one who thrives in a multi-cultural environment with special needs students. Must know and teach the current best practices of literacy instructions. Must have excellent communication skills, must be flexible and enthusiastic. Must be committed to student achievement, the belief that all students can achieve and be willing to experiment with and master a variety of targeted instructional strategies that increase student achievement. Spanish-speaking desirable.
Working Conditions: Regular school days (180 days a year)
Salary: Starting, $37,842, commensurate with salary schedule and experience.
