QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a specific area of instruction.
2. State of Alaska Type A Certificate with specific endorsement in special education.
Responsible for:
Teaching students with disabilities in a rural Alaskan village. Must be able to work in a variety of settings and supervise paraprofessionals. Responsible for teaching reading, writing, math, life skills instruction, etc. Responsible for developing behavior intervention plans for students with challenging behavior. Must write IEPs and ESERs. Must be able to work collaboratively with parents and related service providers.
