Qualifications:
Applicants should hold a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Instrumental Music and Vocal/Choral Music or be eligible for such.  Successful candidate will be able to teach instrumental music, be comfortable doing sectionals, individual lessons, teaching marching fundamentals, and conducting at public performances.  Position will also provide part-time vocal instruction. 
 

Salary:  
Range for 2011-2012 is $37,000 to $63,798 with additional supplemental pay for graduate degree.   NOTE: The actual 2012-2013 salary scale will be set when the new budget is approved.    
 
Workday:
Full time / 10 month (200 days) position, 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday
