  Math Teacher (Grades 7-8)   Description:
An exciting opportunity for an individual who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, high energy level, creativity and the ability to teach all levels of secondary mathematics.  The candidate will display team work, commitment, and a desire to be a part of a dynamic mathematics department.  The individual should possess considerable knowledge of current technologies which serve to increase students' mathematic achievement.  The successful candidate will have the ability to create a dynamic, engaging, and student-centered, environment implementing cooperative learning and assignments that require the application of mathematical concepts.  The candidate must have a strong desire to collaborate with and contribute to other members of the mathematics department to develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and innovative instructional practices.     Qualifications:
Connecticut Teaching Certificate #029, #229 or the ability to qualify, with appropriate endorsement(s), and expertise in curriculum sub-areas.   Salary:
In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and the Education Association of Cheshire.
