RESPONSIBILITIES
To implement the
IEP services identified for individual students including direct
and consultative services, progress monitoring and progress
reporting. Will serve a student population Pre-K through age
21.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
:
-Currently hold a Colorado license with appropriate
endorsement (or CDE licensure application in process)
-Completed and submitted BVSD on-line application
Preferred
:
-Good rapport and interaction with students, parents and team
members
-Competency with a variety of formal and informal assessments
-Work well with time pressures and other stressors
-Understanding of policies and procedures in special
education
-Crisis intervention skills
-Knowledge of functional behavior assessments and behavior
support plans
-Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

sure to include your BVSD employee number).
-If you do not have internet access, a computer is available
in the Human Resources Division, Education Center, 6500 E.
Arapahoe, Boulder, Colorado.
-Regular teachers requesting transfers to less than their
current assignment would assume the contracted FTE of the
accepted position.
-Applications are reviewed to match candidates with position
qualifications, with a limited number selected for
interviews. For the final selection, employment is
contingent upon successful completion of the post-offer screening
process, including a background check and possible medical
examination.
