Please be informed of the availability of the following position in the Faribault Public Schools: Job Title: (3) Summer SACC Site Leaders – Jefferson Elementary Job Description: Work with children in grades K-6 during Kids World summer program only. Monday through Friday, 6-8 hr. shift daily. Job Duties include leading and supervising children while creating and implementing activities. Plan 25 hrs of themed activities/week for children, good leadership and organizational skills and ensure a fun, positive, clean and safe environment for kids. Must use effective communication with staff, parents and children. These positions will begin on June 1, 2012.
Qualifications: Must have previous experience in independently supervising and leading a large group of children. Must have experience in preparing, planning, and implementing at least 30hrs. per week of themed children’s activities for a large group of children. Must be able to provide effective communication, organizational and leadership skills. Must be first aid and CPR certified. Post secondary coursework in education or related field preferred. Must be prompt, trustworthy, friendly hardworking and able to do strenuous physical activity.
