Description:
6th Grade Self-Contained Teacher with Emphasis on Math/Science
Job Summary:
Burr Ridge C.C.S.D. 180 is seeking an individual to serve as a full-time 6th grade self-contained teacher with an emphasis on Mathematics and Science with familiarity with the Illinois State Standards and National Core Curriculum. The successful candidate must be NCLBA Highly Qualified and State certified with an ISBE Elementary Teaching or Secondary Teaching Certificate endorsed for teaching middle school subjects, endorsement in Mathematics and Science area. Candidates who also are NCLBA Highly Qualified and State certified with an ISBE Elementary Teaching or Secondary Teaching Certificate endorsed for teaching middle school subjects with an endorsement in Mathematics and Science areas are preferred.
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois teaching certificate is required.
Proof of negative TB test
Completed on-line application
Completed fingerprinting via ROE
Working Conditions:
2012-2013 school year at Burr Ridge Middle School.
