Teaching Positions
22 Days - Monday- Thursday
June 4 - July 11 (22 Days)
July 3 and July 4 - NO school
Hourly Rate: $27.00
Student Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - 88 instructional hours
Teacher Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - 5 hours x 22 days = 110 hours
Professional Development - 10 hours (4 hours, May 2013 and 1 hour per week x 6 weeks)
Total paid teacher time: 120 hours

Curriculum and instruction will be organized to be a bridge to the next grade level and will blend various instructional materials and strategies to support students in skill acquisition for success in the next grade level.

Pretesting: April MAP testing

Students will be progress monitored every two (2) weeks using MAP Surveys (Short version) and other measures

Post testing: MAP Survey with Goals testing
Required:
Illinois teaching certificate
Experience in teaching reading/remedial reading
Extra coursework in reading, desired
Experience in teacher math/remedial math
Principal recommendation
