Waconia Public Schools is seeking candidates for
a full-time First Grade teaching position
at Southview Elementary School for the 2012-2013
school year.
The successful candidate will
have a valid elementary teaching license issued by the
Minnesota Department of Education.
The ability to speak Spanish
fluently is preferred.
Salary and benefits pursuant to the Waconia Education
Association's collective bargaining agreement.
Waconia Public Schools is a growing district
located approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis.
The district serves more than 3,400
students from the communities of Waconia, New Germany, and
Saint Bonifacius. District facilities include an
educational services center, two elementary schools (K-4), one
middle school (5-8), and one senior high school.
The district has approximately 400 employees, of
which more than 225 are teaching faculty.
