Please be informed of the availability of the following position in the Faribault Public Schools: Job Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE TEACHER - FARIBAULT HIGH SCHOOL Job Description: A part-time (.5 FTE) Special Education teacher at Faribault High School to work with high school age special education students. This position will work to help students on transition skills and to gain work experience. This position commences with the 2012-13 school year on August 27, 2012. Qualifications: Experience working with special education students. Knowledge of due process procedures. Ability and desire to work with a team. Experience with a variety of alternative reading, math, written language and functional curriculum. Experience working in transition programming relating to and working with the community. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to direct paraprofessionals and educational assistants. Ability to collect and interpret data. All candidates will be considered. Licensure: Licensure by the State of Minnesota in Work Experience and preferred licensure in multiple disability categories.
