PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Warehouseman is responsible for stocking and issuing supplies to maintenance and school personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED required
Dependable and cooperative
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable
Must be certified to operate a forklift
Computer knowledge required
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and carry out assigned work orders.
- Distribute equipment and supplies district-wide.
- Works in Warehouse and maintains a clean, neat and sanitary environment.
- Checks on all outgoing supplies before distribution.
- Maintains adequate inventory of supplies at all times.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EQUIPMENT USED:
· District vehicle, electric power tools, forklift, hand pallet jack, telephone, calculator and computer
