School Year Only Position
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (6 hours)
Position: Prepare
and serve food to students and staff, and to oversee the
day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Job Requirements: High school diploma
Complete and pass test as certified safe food handler
Ability
to lift up to 60 lbs.
Responsibilities: Maintain
and create a positive atmosphere for students, staff and
co-workers.
Order
food and supplies necessary for daily operation, check current
inventory levels when ordering.
Clean and sanitize equipment daily and at end of year.
Provide daily production reports and daily counts.
Prepare food to be served for breakfast and lunch.
Use
POS system to deduct breakfast and lunches from accounts, and
make student and staff deposits.
Follow and enforce all safety and sanitation requirements
daily.
Maintain
proper inventory levels to ensure fresh products and control
waste. Use first in first out method with all
inventory.
Take physical inventory monthly and at the end of the school
year.
Responsible
for any other related duties or jobs assigned by the food service
director.
