Waconia Public Schools--ISD 110 is
seeking candidates for a full-time, 12-month
Network Supervisor position.
Under the direction of the
Director of Technology, the Network Supervisor is
responsible for designing, administering,
monitoring and implementing district networking
services and for supervising the district's
technology staff. Duties of the position
involve planning and overseeing the school
district's networking infrastructure and
establishing procedures and methods to handle
internet security, content filtering, data backups,
disaster recovery and district email.
An Associate's Degree in the area of
Computer Science, Networking and/or Information
Technology, or closely-related area and a minimum
of three (3) years of previous and directly-related
experience are required for this position
.
The
successful candidate will be knowledgeable and
experienced
in
both
Windows and Macintosh network operating systems as
well as network management tools and equipment.
Excellent communication and presentational skills
to train staff, prepare reports, and to collaborate
with all levels of district personnel in the
planning, integration and support of technology
throughout the school district are essential to
this position.
