Description:
Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a part-time (Monday -Wednesday) literacy teacher at Orchard Place Elementary School.
Qualifications:
1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2. Illinois teacher certification. 3. Experience as an elementary school teacher is preferred.
Working Conditions:
District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 1 year-around, K-8 school. This assignment will be in one elementary school in the district.

Selection Procedure:
All applications will be reviewed by building committee and qualified applicants will be recommended for further interview consideration. Interviews are conducted at building sites. After interviews are completed, the Associate Superintendent will make a recommendation to the Board of Education via the Superintendent.
