  Summer Teacher/Lead Instructor Position: Digital Arts, Technology & STEM

Job Summary:
Black Rocket Productions, a rapidly growing education company specializing in digital arts, S.T.E.M. and leadership, is hiring Lead Instructors and Assistant Instructors to teach children various types of digital arts programs at locations in your area.
We are looking for a candidate who is willing and able to teach video game design and/or app creation programs in New Jersey. We provide basic training, however, successful candidates will be able to learn software/content and should enjoy gaming and technology.

Lead Instructors are adults who are responsible for the well being and education of the students.  A lead instructor may have either a degree/experience in education or significant experience in one of the content areas being taught.  They must have a strong understanding of the course concepts being taught as well as any techniques and software involved.  Classroom management skills are preferred.  Upon completion of the Black Rocket training program, instructors must demonstrate competency in the core concepts being taught and software used.  In addition to teaching responsibilities, lead instructors are also responsible for supervision of staff, equipment management, enforcement of site policies, and meeting project deadlines.  Training requires availability during some evenings and weekends. Training begins in MAY, 2012.  This is a seasonal position from June to August.  Experience with technology preferred, but not required.  Training is provided.
