  Arch Ford Education Service Cooperative is seeking to hire a Secondary Math Specialist


Qualifications include the following:
  • Master's degree or higher area of specialty
  • Hold a current Arkansas Teaching License
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of recent math teaching experience in a secondary setting
  • Experience in adult learning situations and team problem solving
  • Supervisory experience preferred
Required skills include the following:
  • Current research and best practices in math as well as math curriculum development
  • The school improvement process
  • Efficient use of current technology in instruction as well as for the purpose of communication
Duties and Activities include the following:
  • Communicating regularly with teachers and district leaders to determine needs and provide services
  • Provide assistance in instructional improvement
  • Assist secondary math teachers and administrators with Advanced Placement and regular math classes by modeling effective instruction
  • Provide professional development opportunities across the state in both face-to-face and online training modes
  • Provide approved professional development, technical assistance, and targeted professional development based on needs assessment data from co-op member districts and schools.
