Salary Grade D: $9.64/hr to start, $10.71/hr after six months. Benefits available.
Description: Paraprofessional will work with students with autism and/or students with emotional disturbances. Additional duties will include assisting classroom teacher with daily instructional activities, student management, and classroom operations. Paraprofessional will also provide one to one instruction to students under teacher supervision.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED plus two years college or ability to meet NCLB standards. Previous experience working with high school age special needs students preferred.
