Assistant Principal candidates must have the following:
1 - Valid Indiana Teaching and Secondary Administrative
licenses
2 - Masters degree
3 - Three to five years experience as a classroom teacher
Performance expectations:
1 - Assist in the implementation of the RISE Teacher
evaluation model
2 - Assist in the implementation & development of Mass
Customized Learning
3 - Administer consistent student discipline and attendance
policies and procedures, as outlined in the Student Handbook, and
clearly communicate these expectations to students, teachers and
parents.
4 - Continually survey the facilities in order that proper
maintenance may be utilized.
5 - Approve and arrange all field trips in consultation with
the Assistant Superintendent.
6 - Be responsible for interior security of the building,
including distribution of all employee keys nd I.D. badges, and
the programming of exterior doors.
7 - Assist the Principal in the performance of his duties or
any duties assigned by the Principal.
