Danville Community School Corporation is located in central Hendricks County, just west of the Indianapolis metropolitan area in central Indiana. The school corporation is comprised of the town of Danville and Center and Marion Townships. The school corporation includes light industrial areas, retail establishments, urban and rural residential housing, and rural farming areas. The school corporation was organized in 1963 and contains approximately 83 square miles. The school district's central location offers easy access to higher education, cultural experiences, entertainment, and recreation.
