Salary Range: $35,350 - $76,590 DOE and E Start Date: August 23, 2012 Work Week: 40 Hours per week DESCRIPTION:Intermediate District 287 is seeking qualified candidates for a School Counselor position for the Area Learning Center programs located at North Education Center. Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, this class is accountable for promoting student success, providing preventive services, and responding to identified student needs by implementing acomprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Master's degree in counseling or closely related field. Two years of professional level experience working with at-risk students preferred.
