Description:
1.
Participates in identification, assessment of IEP development and
delivery for eligible students as identified by district policy
and procedure.
2.
Evaluates, selects and modifies resources and activities
consistent with instructional activities and individual student
needs.
3.
Maintains student records regarding special education process in
compliance with district, state and federal requirements.
4.
Plans for learning needs and abilities of each student.
5.
Prepares plans that correlate with specific instructional and IEP
objectives.
6.
Selects instructional methods and learning activities that are
compatible with content, learning styles and student
abilities.
7.
Plans evaluation procedures consistent with instructional
objectives to document progress.
8.
Promotes educational achievement for all students.

Provides opportunities for students to participate actively and
successfully.
