Minimum Qualifications
and Credentials Required:
1.
Educational Requirements:
A high school education or
equivalent is required. Advanced training is
desirable.
2.
Possess Skills and Knowledge:
In food preparation and serving, and maintaining a good
relationship with those utilizing the school lunch
program.
3.
Experience:
None is required, but employees must be willing to
accept instructions and learn from experienced employees and
supervisors.
4.
Certification:
Employees must be Serv-Safe certified or achieve
certification within one year of hire date. Certification
must be kept current.
5.
Physical Requirements:
Should be able to lift up to fifty pounds and have the
ability to be on feet for long periods of time.
6.
Other:
To maintain an excellent working relationship with all
segments of the school community.
