District 36 is seeking a full-time vocal music teacher at Carleton Washburne Middle School The successful candidate will be expected to have a music background, with strong piano skills to accompany students in concerts and performances.
We seek an applicant with the following qualifications:
2. Appreciation and understanding of early adolescence and the middle-school child.
3. Recent experience at the middle-school level preferred.
4. Degree in music, with a strong background in music education, including voice and choral music. Some experience in dramatic arts and guitar preferred.
5. A passionate life-long learner willing to work in an imaginative, collaborative work environment.
6. A desire to be a creative and reflective practitioner.
7. A willingness to devote the time required of the position and an enthusiasm and desire to be active in all phases of school life.
