Program runs from July 2 through July 19, 2012, WEEK ONE - July 2, 3, 5, 6, 2012: WEEKS TWO AND THREE - July 9 - 12 and July 16 - 19, 2012 Monday through Thursday
Staff Members Report 7:45 am - 12:15 p.m. 4.5 hours/day for 12 days
Hourly Rate is $34.76/hr with no benefits
Qualifications:
Licensed in History 9-12 by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Provide academic
support to Class 2016 who scored in the needs improvement and/or failing
category of the Math, Science, and English/Language Arts MCAS exam.
2.
Provide
identified students with small group instruction (1:10 or less teacher/student ratio) that
addresses identified gaps in their acquisition of knowledge and skills in Mathematics, Science,
and English Language Arts. Utilize
assigned classroom support staff when necessary.
3.
Keep accurate
records of student attendance, student performance, and student work.
4.
Provide student
attendance data, samples of student work, and student performance data to
coordinators on a timely basis.
5.
Participate in professional
development training as necessary/provided.
Orientation to be held in June on
a date to be announced.
6.
Assist
coordinators with parent/guardian information programs by providing relevant
student data/work as requested.
7.
Other duties and
responsibilities as requested by the on-site coordinator of the school, or the
program coordinator, principal, and/or grant director.
