Teachers – Summer School (Grades 10-12) Credit Recovery

Description: Summer School will be held at the HS.  Priority in enrollment will be given to students who need additional academic support in order to be successful in the next school year or need 1 or 2 credits to graduate.  Summer school hours will be from 8:00am to 12:00 noon, Monday through June 11 - July 20.  You must be able to commit to work the entire program.  If you miss 3 or more absences, you will be removed from the program.

Job Description:

• Facilitate student progress in a supplementary learning program

• Manage student on-line learning for credit recovery and intervention in core subject areas (HS/MS)

• Design motivational and creative mini-courses that target student learning needs.

• Maintain data to document student progress and attendance

$25.00 per hour / up to 75 hours. Teachers are hired on an as needed basis, depending on enrollment.

Needed:

One HQT teacher per core content area (1) (Grades 10-12)

Credit Recovery ( Social Studies)

Qualifications:

• HQT status in a core content area
