Coach - JV Sideline Cheer

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledgeable about the rules and fundamental techniques required of the sport
• Ability to obtain current CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to work effectively with sport coaching staff, parents and school staff
• Experience working with high school aged students preferred
• Knowledge of the mechanics of the sport

• Complies with MHSAA rules/off season policies and department/district policies
• Coach the athletes at their competitions
  
• Maintains consistent communication with Head Coach
• Conducts well-organized practices
• Develops positive self-image with athletes
• Maintains effective pre-season and in-season conditioning programs
• Maintains active recruitment techniques for all sport programs
• Demonstrates public support/loyalty for fellow coaches
  
• Demonstrates positive team sportsmanship toward opponents and officials
• Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director/Head Coach as applicable

Per the Master Agreement between the Saline Board of Education and the S.E.A./W.L.E.A. – depending upon experience
