Description:
Special Services 1.0 FTE Facilitator/School Social Worker at Jackson Elementary.
Job Summary:
Facilitate all special education and 504 services in the assigned building including referral review, intervention problem solving and data collection, attend as district representative and note taker at all special education due process meetings (Evaluation Planning & IEP meetings), coordination of all 504 evaluation and accommodation plans, and counseling of students as needed.
Qualifications:
Prefer Masters of Social Work and prefer license in an area of special education.
Must be trained in NVCI (CPI).
Require experience in special education and in school settings.
Working Conditions:
Classroom and office environment.
Ability to assist staff on site with student behaviors.
