Kingsland Public Schools has a 1.0 FTE Early Childhood Special Education teaching position available beginning with the 2012-13 school year. Additional licensure areas are a positive. The successful candidate will enjoy new classroom facilities. A focus on integrated preschool instruction is preferred. The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher identifies, evaluates, and implements appropriate plans for birth to age 6 students, writes IEPs, and is a member of the Child Study Team. The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher also meets with parents, interprets student progress and informs parents about their child's progress. Candidates should possess strong technology and communication skills, experience with curriculum mapping, differentiated instruction, RTI background and a cooperative professional approach to teaching.
